Another big success this year for the Kombat League World Championship; a fantastic goal showing that the Federation is growing more and more every day. The Kombat league strength in Muay Thai and K-1 disicplines is becoming more and more visible and evident in the whole world of combat sports, due to our partnerships with leader international organizations as Team Aerts, K-1 Max, and Onesongchai.
Over than 1000 fighters in total and more than 400 fighters only between the full contact disicplines with no World Federation helping us to realize our projects. With this results, we are very proud of our work.
The number of our partners in the foreign countries is always growing and also the number of our representatives all around the world. 25 Foreign Delegation this year present to the Amateur Tournaments and even a Thai Delegation took part to the event in the 63,5kg, 67kg and 71kg showing how really the original Muay Thai should be.
We would also like to thank all the other Delegations, which did not reach to take the VISA on time to come to our great event and therefore hope that their Participation will be possible next year coming:

Many the international partners with whom Kombat League agreed the representation in their countries to start up to next coming season a new important muay thai world circuit under the name of Onesongchai, which will reach the most important international goals which will be explained furthermore to all our italian affiliated during our National Meeting in September 2010.

On friday full contact Sanda tournaments took place starting from 16.00 p.m., before the event "The night of Martial Arts". After all the selections during the day, the finals of the professional fighters were disputed during the evening. The first event for Kombat League completely dedicated to Sanda and Kung Fu and Karate Exhibitions of all the most important teacher in Italy.
Also the two seminars with Peter Aerts and Mr. Vitayapisak took place on friday afternoon.
A big success for our Refereeing sector to have a professionist from Thailand teaching the basis of Muay Thai Judgement.
Peter Aerts has been our guest during the whole period of the World Championship and also the official Matchmaker for rings Holland, to look for new possible talents to insert in the main circuits of the world of combat sports.
All the other disciplines started on Saturday with all the eliminatory tournamentsforr full and light contact disciplines. A lot of people inside the sport hall contributed to create a really hot atmosphere. The K-1 and Muay Thai fights even if between amateurs seemed to be professional fights. All the fighters wanted overall to become World Champion in their own category. For the Muay Thai tournaments in the 63kg, 67kg, and 71kg the finals has been disputed during the professional evening "The big Challenge on the 4 Corners" a tournament of Onesongchai. This year Champion Belts for all 1st serie fighters and for all the others amazing cups.
All the other finals in all disciplines have been disputed on Sunday and closing ceremony also.

A high level torunament, perfect matchmaking, an event that we will be not able to forget easily.
The protagonists of the evening and the tournament, the fighters, gave their 110% and the show has been gorgeous!
Highest Muay Thai level in Europe of the last years surely.
If the last year the thai fighter dominated the ring, this year there has been a great european response with the won of the french Khame Metzani, who pariticipated last year to the World Championship as well.
Compliments also to The Fight Club Riccione for the organization and to FMTI/KL for the matchmaking, a great team work which gave great results!!!!

3X3 MUAY THAI - RESERVE FIGHT ONESONGCHAI/LA GRANDE SFIDA
Reserve fight between two joung european fighters. Amoruso came back to Italy after a long period spent in Thailand training and fighting in many prestigeous events also at Lumpionee Stadium, the french fighter Metzani has a very respectable profile with 2 french titles and the victory last year of the second serie of the KL World Cup.
The match started immediately with really high intensity as the 3 rounds require. Metzani is not very technical but very strong pointed on his physical preparation and reached to win on the Italian fighter during the second round.

Match which was expected between two k-1 specialists, that sometimes fight in Muay Thaialso, disciera.
Presti che aveva accusato dei problemi nella preparazione non si è presentato in grande forma e sapevamo che la tenuta nei tre round poteva diventare un problema.
Infatti dopo una partenza ottima dell'italiano il portoghese si rifaceva nel finale dei round dimostrando maggiore freschezza fisica.
Match comunque durissimo e tirato fino all'ultimo e verdetto a maggioranza per Presti che ha messo a segno i colpi più precisi uniti ad un grande pressing.
Carvalho ha dimostrato tutte le sue ottime qualità che a marzo lo avevano visto protagonista del K1 Max Holland e in precedenza disputare un grande match contro Gago Drago.

Per Gianluca Buccoliero un'altro match di livello negli ultimi due mesi, dopo Jordan Watson e Kaopon Lek arriva uno dei mostri sacri thailandesi, Nonsai Sor. Sanyakorn.
Match difficilissimo in un torneo di grande livello come questo che si andava a delineare a Rimini.
Buccoliero subentrava nel torneo per sostituire Anthony Kane che si era infortunato pochi giorni prima.
Il match partiva subito forte e il thai cercava subito di imporsi con la potenza dei suoi colpi.
Per Buccoliero un match difficile ma dove ha fatto vedere di che pasta è fatto contenendo il thai fino a quando gli è stato possibile.
ottima prova per la crescita di questo bravo fighter italiano che ultimamente si sta imponendo nel panorama della muay thai nazionale.

Cedric Muller vs Fabio Siciliani era un match che avremmo voluto vedere tutti e Rimini è stata fatale.
Siciliani ha tenuto il ring benissimo e per due round il match è stato molto equilibrato, gli scambi venivano da tutte e due le parti e credo che per i giudici fosse realmente dura vedere chi tra i due fighters era superiore.
Il terzo round però è stato determinante in quanto Muller è riuscito a mettere una pressione maggiore e piazzare più colpi.
Sicuramente un match da rivedere in futuro magari per un titolo KL........

3X3 MUAY THAI - QUARTI DI FINALE ONESONGCHAI/LA GRANDE SFIDA
Wladimir Moravcik si presentava come uno dei favoriti nel torneo OneSongchai ed infatti ha mantenuto le attese.
Al primo turno si è trovato davanti Simon Chu (attuale campione inglese) ed è stata subito battaglia.
Un match che ha dimostrato le ottime qualità del fighter inglese che nelle prime battute è riuscito a tenere testa allo slovacco.
Tutti e due gli atleti inoltre, sono dotati di grandi doti fisiche, dei veri 72 kg che solitamente si definiscono atleti di almeno 75 kg che riescono a scendere di peso mantenendo le loro qualità per questi importanti tornei.
Appena Moravcik è riuscito a prendere le distanza dell'inglese il match è subito andato in salita e Chu ha dovuto cedere davanti a questo incredibile campione che in precedenza aveva combattuto contro Kyshenko alla pari.
